What do we know about Nicolas Copernicus

The project took place in a 550th anniversary of Nicolas Copernicus’ birthday. We measured the level of knowledge about this figure in 11 European countries by conducting N=5500 CAWI interviews on representative samples. Moreover, the main associations with Copernicus were gathered as well as knowledge about his scientific achievements, country of origin, specific works, as well as the general interest of respondents in science or art.
